Charleston, W.Va. – Six American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) centers have received a Four or Five-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services Nursing Home Compare program for the month of January.

A Five-Star rating is the highest rating possible a skilled nursing facility (SNF) can receive. The ratings are calculated from a facility’s state survey results, quality measures and staffing levels. A star rating is provided for each of these sources, and then these ratings are combined to calculate an overall rating.

E.A. Hawse, Webster and Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers all received a Five-Star rating. Additionally, joining these Five-Star centers is Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after receiving a deficiency-free state inspection in December.

Clarksburg and Cameron Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers both received Four-Star ratings for January.

Additionally, over the past several months Hillcrest Health Care Center has moved up in their star-ratings. The center located in Danville, has received a Three-Star rating in January.

Fayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, who received a deficiency-free state inspection, should move up in their star-ratings due to their perfect state inspection.

“We value and appreciate the hard work and commitment to quality care in all of our AMFM centers,” Tammy Jo Painter, Vice President of Compliance, said.

AMFM’s mission is “to exemplify excellence in quality care to our customers by providing an environment that enhances personal growth, individuality, dignity and respect.”
