Charleston, W.Va. – Seven American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) centers have received a Five-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services Nursing Home Compare program through May of 2018.
This is the second month in a row AMFM has seven centers have receive Five-Star Rating and 14 AMFM centers are Three Star or higher.
A Five-Star rating is the highest rating possible a skilled nursing facility (SNF) can receive. The ratings are calculated from a facility’s state survey results, quality measures and staffing levels. A star rating is provided for each of these sources, and then these ratings are combined to calculate an overall rating.
The following centers have received a Five-Star Rating:
• Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Fayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Clarksburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Braxton Health Care Center
• Hillcrest Health Care Center
Summers, Cameron N&RC and Bridgeport Health Care Center (HCC) received a Four-Star rating. Four other centers received the Three-Star rating. Those centers are Wayne, Mercer N&RCs, Cabell and Clay HCC.
AMFM operates 18 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout West Virginia. The care centers operate in Braxton, Boone, Clay, Cabell, Summers, Fayette, Hardy, Greenbrier, Webster, Wayne, McDowell, Lincoln, Wyoming, Harrison (Clarksburg & Bridgeport), Marshall, Taylor and Mercer counties.
