Charleston, W.Va. – American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) is certified as a Five-Diamond Employer by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce for their outstanding employee policies and approaches to continuing education, training, wellness, community service, and other features that support a vibrant workforce. 

AMFM received the certification at the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s annual Human Resources Conference in Charleston this week. All chamber member companies doing business in W.Va. were eligible for the award.

“We were extremely honored to be recognized along so many other great companies and organizations doing business in the Mountain State,” Crystal Weaver-Smarr, Director of Human Resources for AMFM, said. “We constantly work to improve the working environment for our employees and provide them the tools they need provide quality care for our residents.”

Since 2008, AMFM centers have scored in the top 10% in the nation for workforce satisfaction 26 times, and received the My InnerView (MIV) “Excellence in Action Award.” MIV is a national research organization that specializes in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care satisfaction surveys.

AMFM operates in Braxton, Boone, Clay, Cabell, Summers, Fayette, Hardy, Webster, Wayne, McDowell, Lincoln, Wyoming, Harrison, Marshall and Mercer counties. The AMFM family of centers provide quality nursing care, speech, occupational, and physical therapy.
