Eight centers receive 100% satisfaction from family surveys
Charleston, W.Va. – The 2018 results are in from a recent survey conducted by My InnerView (MIV), and American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) had another milestone year in providing quality care to customers and creating a positive work environment for employees.
AMFM centers scored higher than national averages for resident, family and employee on overall satisfaction with facility services and as a place of employment.
“I’m extremely proud of each of our centers for having a positive and powerful impact for our residents and communities,” said Tammy Jo Painter, Vice-President of Compliance for AMFM, said. “This feedback is directly from our residents, their families and our care teams in each center, and provides us a roadmap for continuously improving our quality of care and working environments.”
From the residents receiving care in each AMFM center, 14 centers received an overall satisfaction score of 100%. The national average score across the United States is 90% and AMFM centers averaged 97% overall satisfaction.
Braxton, Hillcrest, Bridgeport, Greenbrier and Clay Health Care Centers (HCC), Cameron, E. A. Hawse, Fayette, Mercer, Lincoln, Summers, Wayne, Webster, McDowell, and Clarksburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers (N&RC) all received overall satisfaction rated as “excellent and good” from every respondent.
Eight centers received 100% satisfaction from families who have a loved one at an AMFM center. Braxton, Bridgeport and Clay HCC, Clarksburg, Cameron, McDowell, Wyoming and Webster N&RCs also received perfect scores from families.
The national average for family’s overall satisfaction is 89% and AMFM’s average score is 93%.
From the employee perspective, AMFM centers score much higher than the national average for employee satisfaction. Nationally, 58% of respondents rated their centers as “excellent or good” in terms of a location to work while 87% of AMFM employees rated their center as an “excellent or good” location to be employed.
Lincoln N&RC, a 2015 Bronze National Quality Award recipient from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living and deficiency-free center, received 100% satisfaction from employees.
MIV by the National Research Corporation surveys skilled nursing and assisted living centers nationwide. Surveys were distributed and collected in November and December 2018.
AMFM operates 18 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout West Virginia. The care centers operate in Braxton, Boone, Clay, Cabell, Summers, Fayette, Hardy, Greenbrier, Webster, Wayne, McDowell, Lincoln, Wyoming, Harrison (Clarksburg & Bridgeport), Marshall, Taylor and Mercer counties.
