Charleston, W.Va. – The results from a recent national survey show that patients, families, and employees at AMFM Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers (AMFM) overwhelmingly approve of the job AMFM centers are doing in providing quality care and creating a positive work environment.

According to a third-party research company, My InnerView (MIV) and National Research Corporation (NRC), AMFM achieved higher than the national average scores for resident, family, and employee surveys on “overall satisfaction with facility services” and “overall satisfaction as a place of employment.”

“This has been an extremely difficult year for our care communities because of COVID-19,” said Tammy Jo Painter, Vice-President of Compliance for AMFM. “I’m proud of all our dedicated employees for continuing to provide AMFM’s brand of quality care during the pandemic. Thank you to our patients, families and employees for providing this critical feedback.”

Eleven centers received an overall satisfaction score of 100% on rating center services as “excellent and good” from our patients. Those centers are:

• Cabell Health Care Center
• Cameron Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Hillcrest Health Care Center
• Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Summers Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Taylor Health Care Center
• Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Wyoming Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

The national average for family’s overall satisfaction is 88%, and AMFM’s average score is 94%. Seven centers received 100% overall satisfaction from families rating services as “excellent and good.” Those centers are:

• Cameron Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Clay Health Care Center
• Fayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Taylor Health Care Center
• Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
• Wyoming Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

From the employee perspective, AMFM centers scored much higher than the national average for employee satisfaction. Nationally, 74% of respondents rated their centers as “excellent and good” in terms of a location to work, while 87% of AMFM employees rated their center as an “excellent and good” location to be employed.

MIV and NRC annually surveys skilled nursing and assisted living centers nationwide. AMFM’s 2019 MIV results earned AMFM centers the 2020 Customer and Employee Approved Awards and ranked in 2nd place for customer satisfaction, and 4th place nationally for employee satisfaction.
