Huntington, W.Va. – Three American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) centers came together to help ensure seniors in their area received funds for area services and support. Cabell Health Care Center, Wayne and Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers (N&RC) presented a $3,000 donation to the Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) Senior Services Program. The Senior Services department at CHH reaches beyond the hospital campus, and into the community to share current health information and opportunities for screenings and education with seniors, as well as provide other services to seniors throughout the area. “We want to earmark this donation so the funds go to support seniors in each of these three communities,” Senior Services Director Teresa Sexton, said. The donation was made possible through the AMFM Charitable Foundation, Inc. The foundation provides money to AMFM’s family of 16 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities to support community events, charities and programs. “We have a wonderful partnership with Cabell Huntington Hospital for many years,” Wayne N&RC Executive Director Cindy Cooper, said. “The work they have done over the years for our senior communities, and those communities the hospital serve is remarkable.” AMFM’s mission is “to exemplify excellence in quality care to our customers by providing an environment that enhances personal growth, individuality, dignity and respect.”
