About Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center:
Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (N&RC) opened in 1985 and is a 60 person care center specializing in skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care services.
National Awards & Recognitions:
Webster N&RC received the 2018 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
In a recent national survey through My InnerView/National Research Corporation, Webster N&RC had 90% of families and 100% of patients surveyed who rated their overall satisfaction with facility services as "excellent or good." More than 90% of employees rated their overall job satisfaction as "excellenct and good."
The center received the "2018 Embracing Quality Award" for having favorable customer satisfaction results and for having received a deficiency-free state inspection in 2018.
Webster N&RC also has a 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Nursing Home Compare program. Using data from the Five-Star rating and other quality measures, Webster N&RC has been rated as the number one nursing home in West Virginia for quality care, and has earned three straight deficiency-free state survey inspections.
Webster N&RC plays an important role in the community by partnering with local organizations and providing donations to enrich the Cowen area through funds provided by the AMFM Charitable Foundation, Inc.
In 2014, Webster N&RC received the Community Service Award from the West Virginia Health Care Association for their efforts to improve their community. In addition to collecting winter jackets for children at an area elementary school and canned food for local food pantries, Webster N&RC has presented more than $20,000 in community donations from the AMFM Charitable Foundation, Inc.
Some of the organizations that received donations through Webster N&RC are Cowen Volunteer Fire Department, Sheltered Workshop of Nicholas County, Webster County Memorial Hospital, Webster County Senior Services, Hacker Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and more.
