About Clarksburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center:
Clarksburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (N&RC) opened in 1986 and is a 98 person care community specializing in skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation to home, and long-term care services. The center is located about 15 minutes from Interstate 79 in Clarksburg.
National Awards & Recognitions:
Clarksburg N&RC received the 2012 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. In 2013, Clarksburg N&RC took the next in their quality award journey by receiving the 2013 Silver National Quality Award. Clarksburg N&RC was the only center in West Virginia to receive this prestigious recognition that year.
Clarksburg N&RC has been a Four, or Five-Star Rated center from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Nursing Home Compare program.
In a national survey by My InnerView/National Research Corporation, Clarksburg N&RC had 100% of residents and families surveyed who rated their overall satisfaction with facility services as "excellent and good." Of employees surveyed, 96% surveyed rated their overall job satisfaction as "excellent or good." The national average is 54%.
Clarksburg N&RC has received numerous awards and accolades from the West Virginia Health Care Association (WVHCA), which represents nursing homes and assisted living centers throughout West Virginia. Most recently, Clarksburg N&RC has won awards for administrator of the year, director of nursing of the year and community service.
The facility is a community leader in volunteering, fundraising and participating in community events. Clarksburg N&RC is a sponsor of the annual “West Virginia Italian Heritage Celebration” and has won recognition from their parent company for community service and fundraising.
Through the AMFM Charitable Foundation, Inc., Clarksburg N&RC has presented donations to Humane Society of Harrison County, Shinnston Little League, American Cancer Society, National Down Syndrome, Medbrook Children's Charity, and more.
