4. How do I gain employment after completing the program?
After completing the program, you may work as a CNA trainee for up to 120 days while waiting to take the exam. The facility offers employment to students who complete the program and interview process.
5. What makes someone eligible for the class?
Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and a WVCARES background check.
6. How often are classes offered?
Our classes offered at each AMFM facility are based on the needs of the facility and community. Stay up-to-date by checking back for a list of upcoming classes.
7. What does the class cost?
There is no charge to the student for the class. The program provides textbooks and workbooks for classroom work. Once the student successfully completes the training program, the facility will pay for the student’s West Virginia state exam.
