Hamlin, W.Va. – Music, singing and dancing filled the Dining Hall of Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as the Huntington Outdoor Theatre performed selections from this year’s production of “The Wedding Singer,” before receiving a $1,000 donation to help the theatre with production costs.
HOT depends on donations and sponsors from the community to get a show up and going and is in its’ 16 year of bringing entertainment to the Huntington and surrounding communities.
“This is the second year we have presented the Huntington Outdoor Theatre with a donation,” Michael Gore, Executive Director for Lincoln N&RC, said. “Our patients love the private performance, especially when the children sang several popular songs from the 1980’s from the Children’s Pre-Show.”
The donation was made possible through the AMFM Charitable Foundation, Inc., whose parent company American Medical Facilities Management operates Lincoln Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The foundation provides money to its’ family of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities to support community events, charities and programs.
