New operator for nursing center brings award winning care, community goals

Wallace B. Murphy Nursing Care Facility becomes Taylor Health Care Center

Grafton, W.Va. – In the past six years, American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) centers have won national awards for providing quality health care in their communities; now AMFM is bringing this commitment to quality care to the patients and families in Grafton.

Wallace B. Murphy Nursing Care Facility will be operating as Taylor Health Care Center (THCC), and will be part of a locally operated company with 18 locations throughout West Virginia.

“We are tremendously excited to be joining the Lewisburg community,” Tammy Jo Painter, Vice President of Compliance, said. “From getting to know the dedicated employees here to meeting families and community members, we expect some great and exciting times ahead.”

Taylor HCC, a 76-bed center, is the most recent expansion for AMFM. In 2015, Bridgeport Health Care Center (BHCC) in Harrison County joined the AMFM family, and in April of this year, Greenbrier Health Care Center became the 17th AMFM center.
